The idea for BUDU grew out of personal necessity. When at the gym, I prefer to keep my phone and music with me, but at the most inopportune time, my phone would fall to the floor taking my headphones with it. To solve this, I considered a new case with a clip on it, keeping the phone secure, but then I'd be stuck with this clip the rest of the day, or having to swap cases. Instead, why couldn't I just have one high quality case that adapts to what I'm doing?

I brought the idea home to my wife, who is an avid runner and gym goer. She couldn't immediately relate to the clip, but explained how frustrating it was to access her phone in her armband, and asked if BUDU could solve that. I said yes! That's when BUDU was born!

BUDU is an acronym for Be U. Do U. and embodies being you and doing you. Since our phones go wherever we go, we feel it's important that their look and function adapt to your personality and activity, without holding you back!
